All my Juice Plus+ friends are at the big conference in Phoenix this weekend and I am completely jealous. They are learning some great new information about new bonuses and some delicious protein bars!!! Meeting people like Dr. Sears...I mean come on he is America's pediatrician!! I am in awe of all the knowledge they will bring back and hopefully share so we can put it to good use. Hopefully I will be able to attend the next one in Memphis?</div>

<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vd-bp_Lp8J8/U0bRfQB29II/AAAAAAAABxY/3U6oO9iHe-w/s1600/allergies.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vd-bp_Lp8J8/U0bRfQB29II/AAAAAAAABxY/3U6oO9iHe-w/s1600/allergies.JPG" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
One year ago today my son, Bubbie, was battling allergies. Not just a little sniffle here and there, not just a runny nose....NO he was battling thru tears for no reason, eyes so puffy he could barely see out of them, eye boogers, nose boogers, runny and stuffy nose, sneezing and coughing so much you would have thought a piece of his lung might come up. We went to the doctor almost every week it seemed. They had him on all kinds of allergy meds; eye drops ($100 eye drops that made him scream every time we put them in, "it burns mommy!!!" heart broken), nose spray, liquid meds to take every 6 hrs and an inhaler because he could barely breath at times. I felt so bad for my little man that wanted nothing more than to run and play outside with his friends. Who we signed up for t-ball but had him pumped so full of meds that he could barely enjoy himself thru the daze of it all. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-a9HsEtg6_pE/U0bRfY08VrI/AAAAAAAABxU/OSbxyA3xZ78/s1600/photo.PNG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-a9HsEtg6_pE/U0bRfY08VrI/AAAAAAAABxU/OSbxyA3xZ78/s1600/photo.PNG" height="640" width="360" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Needless to say it was a horrible spring last year. We received some relief from the meds and added some homeopathic methods, <a href="http://www.hylands.com/products/hylands-4-kids-complete-allergy" target="_blank">Hylands </a>and honey; but it was still a very tough battle. My Juice Plus+ sponsor told me the story of her son's asthma and allergies and how he has seen relief from taking JP+. At that time I had already been taking JP+ for a year and was using it sporadically with my children. I don't know why I wasn't more consistent with them? Maybe because I still thought it was a fluke that I was feeling so much better? I was already paying for the product so I decided to go full force with Bubbie taking JP+. <a href="http://kchavez.juiceplus.com/content/JuicePlus/en/buy/orchard-and-garden-chewables-adult.html#.U0bSdahdXh4" target="_blank">Two garden/green gummies and two orchard/red gummies</a>, everyday...along with everything else he was prescribed. It felt like it was too much at times, but we pressed forward and by June he was feeling better and we lightened up on most of the meds but kept up with our JP+. As the year progressed we saw little differences in him here and there; the non vegetable eater was resisting less and tried and loved kale. He didn't seem as sick as he used to be; yes he got the sniffles during the winter but no flu or even missed school days like the year before where he got the flu even though he got a flu shot. Actually we skipped the flu shot for the whole family this year (not consciously just life getting in the way). No flu for anyone. Maybe the Juice Plus+ wasn't a fluke...It wasn't anything I could measure for you, nothing specifically that I could pin point ans say YES this is it. But...</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here we are a year later, just look at him up there! Happy smiling, able to play outside and not feel horrible. We still use Hylands, but on a as needed basis, not everyday just to live. He still has a bit of a stuffy nose, but again nothing like the year before. Are his allergies gone forever? Probably not, but does he feel 100% better than last year, heck ya! We have been doubling up his Juice Plus+ the last few weeks just to be sure we were ready for allergy season (4 of each, no worries about ODing, who can OD on whole fruits and vegetables!?). I hope that maybe next year we wont need allergy meds at all. This is a huge win for us. I was able to sign him up for t-ball again and not worry that he wont be able to enjoy himself. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It was this little change that we made for him that made a HUGE difference. I only wish I would have listened to my own body sooner. If I was feeling better taking JP+ then of course my kids would be. Luckily the Juice Plus+ company is so committed to getting kids healthy that they have the <a href="http://www.childrenshealthstudy.com/?countryName=VVNB&phone=NTEzLTIzNi0wNTc0&partyId=MTQ1NjUyMw==&lastName=Q2hhdmV6&firstName=S2F0aHJ5bg==&website=a2NoYXZleg==&extUserId=MDAwMzc4OTkz&email=a2F0aHJ5bi5jaGF2ZXoxQGdtYWlsLmNvbQ==&emailget=NzA0NWU5NmNmNTA2MmVjMDhlODc5MjIyM2IxNTQ1ZDk=" target="_blank">Children's Health Study</a> where kids (age 4 to college) can get JP+ FREE for four years, with an Adult sponsor!! That is a huge cost savings to our family, but more than that it is an amazing commitment to our kids health and well being. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This is our story with Juice Plus+ and while I was probably the most skeptical person in the beginning I can see now how much JP+ has changed our family's health and lifestyle. Not everyone may have the same results as us, but this is working for us so "if it aint broke don't fix it"...we will continue on our JP+ journey!</div>

A love story of how noodles and zucchini made a delicious meal...</h4>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hehehe, sorry for some reason that was much funnier inside my head ;) Oh well, I am just getting started with the <a href="http://bikinibodymommy.com/">Bikini Body Mommy Challenge</a> and while sadly I have had to adjust almost every single meal (it's my sudo <a href="http://eatingmywaythrulife.blogspot.com/2014/03/vegetarian-days.html">vegetarianism</a> getting in the way and trying to make meals my kids will actually eat). But besides all of that I have really liked it! I know sounds crazy but it is a great start for me, who is already a cook to just get an idea of what we should eat. She has these great shopping lists for the whole week and the meal number is listed next to each ingredient so I can take away and add quickly to the list. It is like having the blue print for the house but you have to add the wall color, trim, and maybe make a room bigger or smaller...but anyway back to zoodles. This was not one of our meals this week and actually I didn't even read her blog post on it? Bad blogger I should do that, maybe her idea is better than mine? But the title really stuck with me and I created this meal that was amazingly gobbled up by my kids!!! and me</div>
<div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FsdACrpDnGY/Uzthfv_YKYI/AAAAAAAABvA/aWs2Z1OzqRc/s1600/IMG_0448.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FsdACrpDnGY/Uzthfv_YKYI/AAAAAAAABvA/aWs2Z1OzqRc/s1600/IMG_0448.jpg" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Sliced up a big zucchini with my mandolin into little string spaghetti. Side note: should have peeled the skin off and then maybe the kids wouldn't have realized this was zucchini?</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-pKmK-2IeaGw/UzthoWMp_OI/AAAAAAAABvU/a_TC0PJHf5Q/s1600/IMG_0449.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-pKmK-2IeaGw/UzthoWMp_OI/AAAAAAAABvU/a_TC0PJHf5Q/s1600/IMG_0449.jpg" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Made some homemade pesto: basil, pine nuts, garlic, parm, olive oil, squeeze of lemon and water; blend the crap out of that!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-U207TTeWMBU/UzthmfeyvwI/AAAAAAAABvM/JaZ46WqnOyg/s1600/IMG_0450.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-U207TTeWMBU/UzthmfeyvwI/AAAAAAAABvM/JaZ46WqnOyg/s1600/IMG_0450.jpg" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I made noodles separate and then sautéed the zucchini in a non stick pan with a little pesto so that it would get tender. Added more pesto to taste.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-JwzcrUREtkw/Uzthqo0PUDI/AAAAAAAABvc/vSwAeJYX6ys/s1600/IMG_0451.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-JwzcrUREtkw/Uzthqo0PUDI/AAAAAAAABvc/vSwAeJYX6ys/s1600/IMG_0451.jpg" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_9kSxWwwvmQ/UzthvxujXkI/AAAAAAAABvk/qMmQaZ_e6T0/s1600/IMG_0452.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_9kSxWwwvmQ/UzthvxujXkI/AAAAAAAABvk/qMmQaZ_e6T0/s1600/IMG_0452.jpg" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
For the noodles I added pesto and reserved a little pasta water to help thin out the sauce and make sure everything gets covered. I kept everything separate at first pending a disaster at the dinner table. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-FGMiNfOKXJQ/Uzth88rX--I/AAAAAAAABvw/aBozG5jN4tA/s1600/IMG_0453.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-FGMiNfOKXJQ/Uzth88rX--I/AAAAAAAABvw/aBozG5jN4tA/s1600/IMG_0453.jpg" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Then viola ...zoodle love. Pesto, noodles and zucchini and my kids loved every second of it and actually asked why we didn't have to have veggies with dinner. HAHAHAHA little did they know!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Add this one to the rotation. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I think about meat a lot right now. I guess because I can't have it...but it comes up more often in conversation than I even imagined. I think i was going thru a <a href="http://healthtip.hacres.com/index.php/2012/06/02/why-do-i-feel-awful-when-i-stop-eating-meat/">meat detox</a> period there for the first two weeks. I felt weak, irritable and slow? Hard to explain but at first I thought maybe it was because I wasn't getting enough protein, so I really upped my game on adding as much protein as I could to everything. Finally someone said I was like an addict going thru withdraw and it made sense. My body was used to what I fed it, meat and lots of it. Now that it wasn't getting it, it was mad. I just had to give it time to figure out that what I was giving it was enough. I talked with a doctor friend and she said that for a female like me 50g of <a href="http://greatist.com/health/complete-vegetarian-proteins">complete proteins</a> were sufficient. I talked to a trainer and she said that was fine but for muscle gain and weight loss I should try and get at least 100g (even eating meat that is hard). But I am working on it...if you have any bright ideas let me know!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Happy birthday to one of my big brothers, he would say favorite and I would say maybe :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
As a treat we took him out for lunch to his favorite downtown restaurant, <a href="http://www.sungkoreanbistro.com/">Sung Korean Bistro</a>. This place has all the charm of an old Korean restaurant and well the food is pretty awesome as well. Also late night this place seems to become the mecca for all the dinning industry to come and have a drink. It must be their infused house Sake. That can really pack a punch!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-34W0e-nDL48/UzLZ5PRAgvI/AAAAAAAABtw/keRKN_08sDY/s1600/sung6.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-34W0e-nDL48/UzLZ5PRAgvI/AAAAAAAABtw/keRKN_08sDY/s1600/sung6.JPG" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
But today we could only come for the food. No sitting criss-cross style at the mini tables. Just a quick celebratory bite to eat. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-MdWCn9QBGeo/UzLZ3joy1QI/AAAAAAAABtU/8PxAhq_JCQY/s1600/sung2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-MdWCn9QBGeo/UzLZ3joy1QI/AAAAAAAABtU/8PxAhq_JCQY/s1600/sung2.JPG" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
If you do have to sit on the floor, at least their chairs have the backs!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mkMozmRHTso/UzLZ3ZfTPWI/AAAAAAAABtY/KJ7uDQqloSs/s1600/sung.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mkMozmRHTso/UzLZ3ZfTPWI/AAAAAAAABtY/KJ7uDQqloSs/s1600/sung.JPG" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
When you order your food they bring out a little appetizer plate that usually has three samples of very traditional Korean food. Kimchi, seaweed salad, roasted potato...all very yummy little treats while you wait. My brother and I order the same meal every time, the Dolsat Bibimbab. It is basically a hot stone bowl, like flaming hot still cooking the food hot bowl of deliciousness. They add rice, vegetables and your choice of meat than top it all off with a sunny side up egg. To kick up the heat level they add a red chili bean paste when they stir the bowl for you. Yes you read that right they stir your food for you! Now if they could just feed me too. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-c1cdrsuCAvQ/UzLZ4bv0RzI/AAAAAAAABtk/ffCqSLVywdk/s1600/sung4.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-c1cdrsuCAvQ/UzLZ4bv0RzI/AAAAAAAABtk/ffCqSLVywdk/s1600/sung4.JPG" height="628" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
This picture is steamy, that's how hot the food was. PS I had to get tofu which is not as delicious as the meat, sad replacement for their delicious meat. What is so great about the heat of the bowl is that it sort of burns the rice. But not in a gross inedible way, in a way that makes you want to eat every last bite of that rice. In fact I wont let them stir mine right away just so the rice can have a little more time to get a good crust on it. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6RmHqfBTkFE/UzLZ3RWQSyI/AAAAAAAABtg/LqqfYnQ9jhE/s1600/sung3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6RmHqfBTkFE/UzLZ3RWQSyI/AAAAAAAABtg/LqqfYnQ9jhE/s1600/sung3.JPG" height="640" width="556" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
They do have other lovely items on the menu such as sushi and noodles, I have tried most of them. But I always come back to my stone bowl. It is comforting, warm, filling and very yummy in my tummy. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<h2 style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Big thumbs up for this place if you are looking for dinning options in downtown Cincinnati! </h2>

I have been completely bogged down with work lately; I have officially taken on too much. I am now currently a full time mother, cook, cleaner, 9-5 worker and <a href="http://kchavez.juiceplus.com/">Juice Plus+ VF</a> with high hopes of becoming a sales coordinator! Oh and wanna be blogger, grocery shopper, dog walker x2, <a href="http://eatingmywaythrulife.blogspot.com/2014/03/vegetarian-days.html">part time vegetarian</a>, babysitter, wife (whoops that came late in the list) and friend (sadly that came even later). I feel like this list could get longer but I will spare you as I am very sure that we are all fighting our own battles of finding the balance. So to say the least the world has been <a href="http://eatingmywaythrulife.blogspot.com/2014/03/last-week.html">spiraling out of control lately</a>. Sort of in a terrible way as I hate feeling stressed, but sort of in a good way too. I have been working towards goals and accomplishing them.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Orw-0rkv9F8/UzHQrRqCPlI/AAAAAAAABsg/iHCr7581dIg/s1600/outside.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Orw-0rkv9F8/UzHQrRqCPlI/AAAAAAAABsg/iHCr7581dIg/s1600/outside.JPG" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>

Goal: Fast Track to JP+ Virtual Franchise</h4>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Short <a href="http://www.juiceplusvirtualfranchise.com/">JP break down</a>:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<ul>
<li>All JP+ reps start out as distributors; earning the difference between the whole sale price of the product and the retail price. </li>
<li>Next you work to become a direct distributor (about 10 sales) and that is when you start earning commission. </li>
<li>Next comes VF where you earn retail sales profit, commission and performance bonus. </li>
<ul>
<li>I choose the fast track method, which comes with extra bonus money.</li>
<li>I had sixty days to get 1 other person signed up to be a distributor and about 20 sales between the two of us; STRESS-ola</li>
</ul>
</ul>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xptp_XngVIE/UzHQ4HRra5I/AAAAAAAABsw/mPbDyzR-9fQ/s1600/smoothie.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xptp_XngVIE/UzHQ4HRra5I/AAAAAAAABsw/mPbDyzR-9fQ/s1600/smoothie.JPG" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://kchavez.juiceplus.com/content/JuicePlus/en/buy/juice-plus--orchard--garden---vineyard-blen-capsules.html">Double JP+ capsules</a> for stressful days in my smoothie and in my body</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Initially for me I was still grappling with the idea of even asking my friends to purchase JP+ let alone asking them if they wanted to join my team and sell with me! It took me two years of taking JP+ to even consider the idea of selling...It is a scary thing to sell. Luckily I have an AMAZING sponsor and JP+ as a company has made everything easy for me...like really too easy, do they just like giving me money? After throwing two parties and being able to tag myself and guests on to other parties in the area I was able to reach my goal! I stressed a little bit at the end trying to get that last sale to push me over. But honestly I shouldn't even call it sales, I feel like I am just <i>sharing </i>what is working for us with luckily some awesome research to back it up. You can either buy into it or not. I say at the end, every time I talk with someone new about JP+, "If you walk away with nothing more than the idea of eating more fruits and veggies and drinking more water, than I have done my job!" That feels like the truth, it is the truth and what I really want. I understand that for some it might be expensive to purchase JP+ and for others they wonder if the benefit is real even with all the research. That is their choice to make but I am glad that I gave them the choice. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-fy5eItecj-w/UzHQ2_UNHUI/AAAAAAAABss/ahPOw_qRfOw/s1600/JPblend.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-fy5eItecj-w/UzHQ2_UNHUI/AAAAAAAABss/ahPOw_qRfOw/s1600/JPblend.jpg" height="107" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In my heart my goal has changed as I have pushed to fast track to sales coordinator. Yes the money has been nice, but the new friends I have made and the feeling I get that I am actually helping people with their families health is way better. See I do "buy into" the hoopla! My family has seen noticeable differences, I don't have to read the research to know that and that is <i>enough</i> for me.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-M5unTOK2Nj0/UzHRT-ar3dI/AAAAAAAABs4/bZxQWA4inAc/s1600/photo+1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-M5unTOK2Nj0/UzHRT-ar3dI/AAAAAAAABs4/bZxQWA4inAc/s1600/photo+1.JPG" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Salad, zucchini steak and sweet potato mash with avocado = very satisfying </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Moving forward I am trying to let go of the stress and be happy with the progression of my life. This was just one goal and I nailed the first piece. I just have to keep focused and enjoy the journey. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Quick plug: <a href="https://www.facebook.com/Juiceplusk">Message me on Facebook</a> if you have been thinking about over extending yourself lately and want to have warm in fuzzies inside like me :) I have the inside track to the most fun team in the Cincinnati Area!</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Yes it is that time of year again! When all the Cincinnatian's gather underneath each church to enjoy a good old fish fry. During lent this is really the main event each Friday church's boast about their amazon fish fry offerings, trying to gather more than just the usual parishioners. They have music and local radio stations and celebrities stopping by to boost sales and hopefully raise money for the church. In fact for some churches this is a bigger money maker for them than their annual fund?! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
My hubs family attends <a href="http://www.saintwilliam.com/">St. Williams</a> so this is where we usually end up each week. I guess I am bias when I say that their fish fry is the best. Yes we have tried others, and while I am not a big fried food anything girl I like <a href="http://www.saintwilliam.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=39&Itemid=55">St. Williams</a> and that might be for one reason...they have <a href="http://www.saintwilliam.com/images/fish_fry_flier_2014_whole2.pdf">crab cakes</a>!!! I feel like all the fish fry's offer the same pretty basic items; fried anything fish, but this is the only crab cake in town. </div>

If you have never attended one of Cincinnati's many fish fry's I highly recommend you do. You may not make it out to St. Williams on the west side but there are <a href="http://www.cincinnati.com/story/entertainment/2014/03/05/our-guide-to-friday-fish-frys/6080957/">plenty to choose from around the city</a>. Some you go for the food and others you go for the good company and a time to sit with the family and just relish in the season. Fried food may not be your thing, but like I have said before I love arbitrary rules (only eat fish on Fridays). It makes for a nice family tradition :)</div>

I absolutely hate cleaning my blender, getting it out and using it all together. But with this Juice Plus+ Complete Smoothie kick I have been on it has been a necessary evil...well until now! I found something that works a little bit quicker for me in the morning and is also very easy to clean. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
TADA!!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I grabbed the glass from my <a href="http://www.bodum.com/gb/en-us/shop/detail/11170-16/">french press</a> thru all my ingredients in (today was raspberries, JP+ <a href="http://kchavez.juiceplus.com/content/JuicePlus/en/buy/juice-plus--complete-vanilla.html#.Ux8pwD9dXh4">vanilla protein</a>, and my two orchard and two garden <a href="http://kchavez.juiceplus.com/content/JuicePlus/en/buy/juice-plus--orchard--garden---vineyard-blen-capsules.html#.Ux8ptz9dXh4">JP+ pills</a> with coconut milk) and used my <a href="https://www.cuisinart.com/products/hand_blenders/csb-33.html">immersion blender</a> to whip it all together. Quick and easy! Clean us was the even easier since I run the dishwasher everyday (product of three kids) I put the glass in the wash rinse the blender in the sink or put water the glass and blend that up with soap and every thing is clean no washer needed! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
It felt very AHA! for me this morning :) don't know if this would work with the green smoothie though since they need to be chopped up pretty finely but perfect for today's smoothie. Quick update on the smoothie train: delicious and filling (even with just milk and protein)!! Maybe I will even weigh myself this week? </div>

Explain to me why the kid who eats right only gets a tiny ladder and the dog walker wins the game? Doesn't seem fair to me. hahaha oh well this weekend is lining up to be pretty fun. I am helping a friend work her <a href="https://kchavez.towergarden.com/">Tower Garden</a> table at the <a href="http://www.cincymuseum.org/events/learning-through-play">Learning Through Play</a> conference downtown. It is a great event where they focus on open-ended play to help children learn to love learning on their own. Gardening can be a powerful tool for learning at any age!</div>

I try to use as much of the fruit and veggies we buy but I didn't know I might be throwing out the most <a href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/03/02/fruits-and-vegetables-not-eating_n_4868505.html?utm_hp_ref=healthy-living&icid=maing-grid7%7Cmaing8%7Cdl29%7Csec1_lnk3%26pLid%3D449844">nutritious parts</a>?!<br />

Debating doing this <a href="http://ohdeardrea.blogspot.com/2014/02/mise-en-place-thirty-day-cleanse-e.html">cleanse</a>, bought the online book and the pictures alone were worth it!<br />

I'll admit that I have not always been the most understanding when it comes to food allergies since I love all things food, but <a href="http://moms.popsugar.com/Understanding-Kids-Food-Allergies-34191032#photo-34191815">this </a>gave me a little perspective.<br />

OK so I am only two days into being a vegetarian (I guess actually a <a href="http://vegetarian.about.com/od/vegetarianvegan101/tp/TypesofVeg.htm">pescetarian </a>since I am allowing fish) and I wanted to give a quick update. My meals have been going like this:</div>
<br />
<ul>
<li><a href="http://kchavez.juiceplus.com/content/JuicePlus/en/buy/juice-plus--complete-variety.html">Juice Plus+ Complete Protein Shake</a> for Breakfast </li>
<li>Fruit or veggie snack</li>
<li>Sensible Lunch</li>
<li>Fruit or veggie snack</li>
<li>sensible dinner</li>
</ul>
<div>
Lets summarize this in pictures...</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-VPcTmGQxL9g/Uxnf5hU2ROI/AAAAAAAABps/JAca7_7_3O0/s1600/salad.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-VPcTmGQxL9g/Uxnf5hU2ROI/AAAAAAAABps/JAca7_7_3O0/s1600/salad.JPG" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<b>First day lunch:</b> left over quinoa, mixed with arugula, red peppers and radishes. I put a little tikka masala sauce on it too. I would say DELISH!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-61Ep259nDRM/Uxnf50BLSLI/AAAAAAAABpw/pMEfjKoTjnU/s1600/chickpeas.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-61Ep259nDRM/Uxnf50BLSLI/AAAAAAAABpw/pMEfjKoTjnU/s1600/chickpeas.JPG" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<b>Dinner:</b> Green chili roasted chick peas (literally thru a can of green chilies in a skillet with the chick peas and some garlic with a little water and roasted them) served over top red peppers, cottage cheese and broccoli. Chick peas were great, but what was I thinking with the cottage cheese?!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-nSjGgs0k1GY/Uxnf5To6XnI/AAAAAAAABpo/Ly3wOts_wVk/s1600/oats.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-nSjGgs0k1GY/Uxnf5To6XnI/AAAAAAAABpo/Ly3wOts_wVk/s1600/oats.JPG" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<b>Lunch day two:</b> This was a recipe from that <a href="http://ohdeardrea.blogspot.com/p/shop.html">cleanse </a>I mentioned. I don't know if I am ready to go full throttle on the cleanse but I am definitely going to be adding some of the recipes during my veggie stage. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YkQOZ53e3lY/Uxnf6Bc4bYI/AAAAAAAABp8/aOpN049TTt4/s1600/subway.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YkQOZ53e3lY/Uxnf6Bc4bYI/AAAAAAAABp8/aOpN049TTt4/s1600/subway.JPG" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<b>Dinner:</b> I was in kid transit mode between tutoring, soccer and a volleyball tournament so we had to eat the <a href="http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/business/2014/02/05/subway-fast-food-chemicals-in-food/5236537/">shoe leather subway</a>. Not completely terrible, but I had to get every veggie there was just to fill the thing up! Of course Kiddo got bacon on hers and shoved it in my face every second she could; the little bugger. Sadly they lost their game but we ate <a href="http://www.dairyqueen.com/us-en/Blizzard-of-the-Month/?localechange=1&">mini DQ Blizzards</a> to make up for it. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-1jK7XowC3IM/Uxnk0zhWkuI/AAAAAAAABqQ/R9Et6jd5uL4/s1600/shake.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-1jK7XowC3IM/Uxnk0zhWkuI/AAAAAAAABqQ/R9Et6jd5uL4/s1600/shake.JPG" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
For breakfast every morning I have been making different variations of the <a href="http://kchavez.juiceplus.com/content/JuicePlus/en/buy/juice-plus--complete-variety.html">Juice Plus+ Complete Protein</a> shake. These have been surprisingly filling. I am actually testing this shake as a weight loss technique? I work out pretty regularly but have plateaued with my weight loss. I really hate the idea of a diet, I mean I hear diet and I want to eat a pint of ice cream... So this has worked out nicely since it has just become a meal replacement and it is full of good stuff for me! I will let you know how it goes, I mean I am only two days in folks. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<h2 style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Could you give up meat?</h2>

I just had to share a quick post about my friends baby shower this weekend. It is always such a good time to get together with these girls. We don't always hang out and party like we used to and life has really taken us in different directions but it is nice to be able to show up to these events and pick up right were you left off. I haven't always felt like a part of the group sometimes. </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
After high school I moved away got wild and crazy, came home got more wild and crazy and got knocked up and disappeared. I made the choices and am happy with where I am now and happy with this close friends I have now, but sometimes it is hard to feel a part of a group when you don't see them all that often and don't have those "stories" to tell from back in the day. I Was the first to have a kid so I left the party early. Lost a lot of friends because of it, but I guess it means the ones I have now are better? I hope so, but I digress. Baby shower...very fun and cute. They Threw it at <a href="http://www.tresbellecakes.com/index2.php#/home/">Tres Belle Cakes</a>, the cutest little bakery shop in Reading. </div>

March 1st, perfectly sunny, 50 plus degree weather. Kids playing outside, burgers grilled. A taste of the spring that is to come. Hope that winter will end eventually.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-sNR0ebwxyjY/UxZ97lHaJrI/AAAAAAAABnw/mUkBaCyzQvg/s1600/IMG_9924.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-sNR0ebwxyjY/UxZ97lHaJrI/AAAAAAAABnw/mUkBaCyzQvg/s1600/IMG_9924.JPG" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Then March 2nd, 4 inches of snow at least another 2 inches of ice. This picture is where we had a fire on our front porch and drank all night with friends. Yup covered in wonderful snow! Oh mother nature you are a moody, hormonal lady sometimes!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-WwjEe0eOpjQ/UxZ9xhwzknI/AAAAAAAABng/SrFFz5jIBzk/s1600/IMG_9939.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-WwjEe0eOpjQ/UxZ9xhwzknI/AAAAAAAABng/SrFFz5jIBzk/s1600/IMG_9939.JPG" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Oh well being stuck inside allowed me to think about what I wanted to give up or take on this year as my "Lenten Promise". I wouldn't say I follow Lent in the most traditional christian/catholic manner. I usually take the forty days as an excuse to test myself. Give up pop or saying no, we <a href="http://eatingmywaythrulife.blogspot.com/2013/02/making-lenten-promise-40-days.html">gave up processed foods</a> last year! Each time it is a way to test my determination to be better and my addiction to being lazy. I feel like if I am able to make it for forty days without something then I can do anything. And maybe at the end of that time I will realize that I don't need what ever it is I gave up. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Well this year I decided to test myself again, but leave the family out of it (although I am sure they will get some of the effects). I plan to give up MEAT! Gah, become a vegetarian for forty days. Is bacon veggie-tarian? I love meat and I think that getting enough protein is an important part of everyone's diet. I also though feel great taking <a href="http://kchavez.juiceplus.com/">Juice Plus+</a> right now. I feel like I have more energy, workouts are easier and I know it is the 25 whole fruits, veggies and grains I am getting. The variety it is adding to my diet is awesome. So I am just taking that piece up a notch...forcing myself to add more variety, to stretch myself to add more vegetables and fruits. Also giving myself the opportunity to find alternative proteins. I have been reading <a href="http://ohdeardrea.blogspot.com/p/shop.html">this cleanse</a> and it talks a lot about how animal protein isn't so good on the digestive track. I've heard it too in the JP+ talks and material and I go halfway on it...I believe in moderation. Animals are yummy and delicious but maybe I will see how this body does without them for a little bit. </div>

Keep following and lets see what I come up with. Yummy recipes, ups and downs, moody pieces and kids/hubs complaining. I will still be making meat which is what is going to make this even harder. Also for the family I am trying to up their fish intake so I will still be eating some fish, but only on Fridays and not just fried ;) I know a lot to take on for forty days but lets see how it goes?</div>

I think I might have perfected spaghetti sauce! Now if only my children actually liked red sauce on their spaghetti, but I will be ready when they do. So we will make this one short and sweet, pictures and a delicious recipe. I started <a href="http://www.thekitchn.com/marcella-hazans-amazing-4ingre-144538">here</a>, and expanded for our families taste, I mean my taste.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hR_TomsZizg/UxPU-Pl0oFI/AAAAAAAABmI/UyylBHJpZWc/s1600/IMG_9929.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hR_TomsZizg/UxPU-Pl0oFI/AAAAAAAABmI/UyylBHJpZWc/s1600/IMG_9929.jpg" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The key here really is the simplicity of the ingredients. You can follow the original four ingredient recipe and that makes a pretty amazing sauce, but if you want complements from the neighbor kids that always eat dinner at your house, make it my way. In fact hire that kid to come to every meal because he always gobbles your food down. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GBiObgjLHuQ/UxPVBFkMPVI/AAAAAAAABmQ/q94aSGCSbBo/s1600/IMG_9930.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GBiObgjLHuQ/UxPVBFkMPVI/AAAAAAAABmQ/q94aSGCSbBo/s1600/IMG_9930.jpg" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
This time of season I am stuck with canned tomatoes. But they really work just as well, try and find organic if you can and look and make sure the packaging is BPA free. My in laws can tomatoes but I was all out of their yummy garden ones. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-n3z195ifXz0/UxPVMru-XKI/AAAAAAAABmg/FF7ypbZYopo/s1600/IMG_9931.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-n3z195ifXz0/UxPVMru-XKI/AAAAAAAABmg/FF7ypbZYopo/s1600/IMG_9931.JPG" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<h3>
Perfect Red Sauce</h3>
<h4>
(makes enough for one box of pasta and then some)</h4>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<ul>
<li>1 yellow onion, cut in half skin removed</li>
<li>Three cloves garlic</li>
<li>2 cans of whole tomatoes</li>
<li>Generous pinch of salt</li>
<li>1 tbls of dried oregano</li>
<li>Ground pepper to taste </li>
<li>4 tbls of butter</li>
<li>Fresh basil</li>
<li>(Optional) half glass of good red wine</li>
<li>(Optional) Italian sausage </li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This recipe is really so easy...cut your onion in half remove the skin and throw it in the pot. Now I like to grate one half a little bit to get some juices running (I do this in anything that calls for onions, I love the flavor of onion just not the bit of it). Do the same thing with the garlic, and again I grate one a little bit to get it going. Start your burner and open your tomato cans and dump them in. Stir everything and add your salt, oregano and pepper. Stir again and let it all simmer anywhere from 20 mins to an hour. It really depends on how much time you have to give to this sauce. It taste great made in 30 minutes it taste freaking amazing if made over two hours!!! But who really has that kind of time. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So we'll assume 20 minutes for now... add your butter and stir it as it melts into the sauce. I remove the onions at this time, most of them have melted into the sauce so I really just grab the big pieces out. Now this next part is much easier if you have an immersion blender but if not you can do this in batches in a regular blender. But I highly recommend in investing in an immersion blender, I use mine for all kinds of things!! Ok blender everything together add your fresh basil and let it simmer till you are ready to serve, at least another ten minutes. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This sauce is great for all kinds of pasta, we added italian sausage and wine to ours tonight to pour over rigatoni and of course I didn't take a picture of the final project because I was so hunger at this point that I gobbled my plate, my mister's leftovers and some of my hubs leftovers. SO YUMMY!!! It's the butter, just adds a really rich deep flavor! The wine is great to add if you have time to let the whole sauce cook down a bit so think at least another 20 minutes after blending. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<h2>
I hope this sauce is as much a hit for you as it is for our house. </h2>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
I saw the above most disturbing thing at the store today!! Ok the first cart is mine filled with organic and non organic fruits and veggies. I loaded them on the belt to pay for all my goods; about $150 worth of groceries (I usually shop at the farmers market but today I was roped in by a couple of coupons I had). The lady behind me loaded her stuff up next. The first think she put on the cart was about 5 or 6 large bottles of vitamins; multi, magnesium, B and others. Now mind you I am not a snooper (contradiction here since this is exactly what I did) but I kept watching this lady unload more crap so much so I took a sadly blurry picture because I was flabbergasted! Ok back to her load of stuff...after the huge pills of vitamins came the Doritos, and Fritos and krispy kream donuts, a bag of cookies, taco stuff and something that looked like sausage? I kept staring at her and she must of thought I was crazy but I just kept thinking maybe if she bought less processed food she wouldn't need so many vitamins? I was SOOO nosy in fact I stayed behind to see what her bill came to, about $150...<b>I guess you get what you pay for</b>. </div>

<h3>
Linky Time</h3>
I sort of think this is stupid?! I know to <a href="http://moms.popsugar.com/Airplanes-Change-Baby-Lap-Rule-34150618">restrain my child</a> you don't need to make a thousand laws to tell me how, and I love being able to travel with my less than two year old for free...<br />
<br />
Just a couple of <a href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/02/24/food-regulation-facts_n_4063890.html?utm_hp_ref=mostpopular">food regulations</a> the government likes to gloss over.<br />
<br />
I am always wondering what <a href="http://imaginationsoup.net/2012/05/40-stem-ipad-apps-for-kids-science-technology-engineering-math/">apps to download for the kids</a>?<br />
<br />
Hard to imagine it right now with it being so cold but we are already booking camps for the summer. Overnight for the kiddo at <a href="http://www.myycamp.org/summer-camp">Camp Ernst</a> and day camp at the <a href="http://cincinnatizoo.org/education/kids-families/zoo-camp/">Zoo </a>for the bubbie (his first time!)<br />
<br />
The <a href="http://www.rockfordparent.com/article/20140219/News/140219123">life of a working mom</a>, and tell me again why I decided to get a side job?<br />
<br />
Do your kids <a href="http://mom.me/fun/10903-crazy-kid-collections/">collect </a>anything? I collected rocks when i was little, the kiddo currently has a thing for pandas.<br />
<br />
This takes <a href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/02/26/4-year-old-paper-dresses-fashion-by-mayhem_n_4855545.html?utm_hp_ref=parents&ir=Parents">paper dolls</a> to a whole new level!<br />
<br />
What do you think of the FDA's <a href="http://blog.foodnetwork.com/healthyeats/2014/02/27/the-nutrition-labels-new-look/">new nutrition labels</a>?<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Oh I think this was my favorite party yet, or do I say that every time? Either way it was so nice to be relaxed and enjoy each others company without the stress of looking good or being on our game. I guess I had to be on my game since I was presenting, but that is getting easier and easier. The information flows more smoothly for me now. I definitely don't know everything but I feel more comfortable with the information that we can either come up with an answer or I can look it up and figure it out. </div>

This time I had a small learning curve only because I couldn't get my presentation power point to work on the TV so I had to wing it with the books which actually are almost more helpful. Same information just presenting with a little bit more reading. Which I would like if someone was presenting to me, so that I could tune them out and in as needed and read the information. Not that my talk wasn't so riveting that people were on the edge of their seat! Hahaha I think everyone got some great information, loved the smoothies and energy bites and at the very least walked away with a new love for the green smoothie (yes I found the perfect recipe!)</div>

PS that is not my handwriting above, although mine is pretty bad as well. My 10 year old Kiddo helped out with all the planning and placement of everything. </div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
We made three different smoothies; berry, peanut butter and chocolate, and green using the vanilla and chocolate <a href="http://kchavez.juiceplus.com/content/JuicePlus/en/buy/juice-plus--complete-variety.html">Juice Plus Complete Proteins</a>. The berry and chocolate were good, but nothing you couldn't figure out how to whip up in a second. But the GREEN smoothie was something to write home about. I have tried a million green smoothie recipes and ALL have been a bust for me, too earthy, too gross, too yucky! Half of them didn't even turn out green but more of a brown color, I was always left disappointed. I think you really have to be a fan of greens to like a green smoothie..and as much as I like veggies I am not a fan of drinking them. Well until Saturday when I found the perfect mix :) the key for me was the veggies...<br />
<br /></div>
<h4 style="text-align: justify;">
Green Smoothie:</h4>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<ul>
<li>1 scoop <a href="http://kchavez.juiceplus.com/content/JuicePlus/en/buy/juice-plus--complete-vanilla.html">Vanilla JP+ Complete protein</a></li>
<li>3-4 leaves of <a href="http://ecolocalizer.com/2012/03/25/delicious-nutritious-kale-photo-guide-to-different-varieties/">Kale</a> (I used lacinato kale but I assume any kind would do the trick)</li>
<li>2 stalks of celery (I tried to stick with the inner parts since they aren't as stringy)</li>
<li>1/2 green apple, skin removed</li>
<li>1/2 cup frozen mango (have to have something frozen)</li>
<li>3 tbls of plain greek yogurt </li>
<li>1/2 cup or more of apple juice</li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Throw it all into a blender and pulse, chop blend the heck out of it! You can add more apple juice if it needs to be thinned out a bit so I would wait to add that at the end. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Simple and easy, I wont lie I believe it is all about the KALE for me. I have tried spinach, collard greens, coconut milk, avocado, everything! They all just tasted too green for me, and maybe my green smoothie doesn't have enough greens? But it was green enough for me and everyone loved it. The kids were very hesitant to try it because of its very bright color but once they took a little sip they were downing it like a milk shake. Yummy.<br />
<br />
Since I had some delicious smoothies I thought people might want something more than fruit to eat, so I made a batch of energy bites. I basically adapted my original <a href="http://eatingmywaythrulife.blogspot.com/2013/04/chewy-yummy-granola-bars.html">Chewy Granola Bar</a> to a bite sized protein packed snack!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<h4>
Chocolate Energy Bites:</h4>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<ul style="text-align: start;">
<li>1 scoop <a href="http://kchavez.juiceplus.com/content/JuicePlus/en/buy/juice-plus--complete-chocolate.html" style="text-align: justify;">Dutch Chocolate JP+ Complete Protein</a></li>
<li>1 cup rolled oats</li>
<li>1/4 cup raisins</li>
<li>1 tbls butter</li>
<li>1 good squirt of honey</li>
<li>1/4 cup brown sugar</li>
<li>1/2 tsp salt</li>
<li>handful or more of mini chocolate chips if desired</li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Put the first three ingredients together in a big bowl. Melt the sugars(butter, honey, brown) together in the microwave or on the stove and pour over top. Mix with a spatula since the sugar will be hot and make sure everything gets coated. Keep mixing and mixing and it will start to form a ball all on it's own. Once you get to this stage you can either roll it into bite sized balls or press it flat on a greased pan to cool. I usually refrigerate it for an hour to let it firm up. If you choose to press it flat then after it has firmed you can cut it into kid sized bites. A trick I read somewhere for cutting perfect squares is; cut it in half one way, then cut your halves in half the same way and so on and so forth then do the same thing the other direction. It really works!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
These were also delicious and something a bit more filling to have on hand. I had to tell the kids that they couldn't eat them all in one sitting. So all in all, it was a great party. The more I learn about <a href="http://kchavez.juiceplus.com/">Juice Plus+</a> the more I am so glad that I started selling it. I was scared at first that I didn't want to be pushing some crazy pyramid scheme product and rope my friends and family into buying something that they don't want. But what has been so comforting is that one, I believe in the product. I have seen how it has helped my family to feel better and stay healthy. Two, the unconditional support my sponsor has been with all my ups and downs and waning excitement at times. Not just her but other higher up distributors of the JP+ product. I am currently having individual genuine conversations with doctors and health professionals like they are my friends and in fact I really feel like they are! And three, lastly, every time I talk with someone new about JP+ I see that I am not the only one out there looking for healthy alternatives for my family. That people in general are wanting to be healthier but like me struggle to find the balance. I feel good that I can share what I think has been a huge help to our family with others and maybe they want to sign up or maybe this info becomes a catalyst in their life to start eating healthier. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

The snow is finally starting to melt! We actually had two days that we were able to play outside. The only sad thing about the snow melting is how ugly it makes everything? The city currently looks dirty, like grow yucky, mucky, dirty. I am hopefully for more warm days and some spring showers to clear the cobwebs out and bring on the little bit of green grass peeking out in my lawn. </div>

Throwing a completely last minute hodgepodge of a <a href="http://kchavez.juiceplus.com/">Juice Plus+</a> party tomorrow, Sweatpants and Smoothies. I had a couple of friends that wanted to know more information but really wanted to go to one of my parties rather than someone else's home or and informational seminar...so last minute party it is! I am actually kind of excited about the concept since I LOVE the <a href="http://kchavez.juiceplus.com/content/JuicePlus/en/buy/juice-plus--complete-variety.html#.Uwd5AWJdXh4">Complete Protein</a> that JP+ offers. Basically I told everyone to roll out of bed in whatever they have on and come on over to my house to try some yummy shakes. They are such an easy way to start the day and a complete meal replacement. Don't worry I still love my eggs. See below, sunny side up egg with cheddar cheese (all I had) over baby spinach with a light garlic vinaigrette. </div>

The hubs may be away on business but I was lucky enough to secure a babysitter and enjoy myself for a girls night out! There is a group of about ten or so ladies that tries to get together at least once a month. We are a mixed group so some are hanging out all the time but some of us only get to see each other this one night out. It is sort of perfect for our busy lifestyles with kids and work and such. I mean not that we are old but none of us are headed out for ragers every weekend like we used too. I think the biggest event we talked about was a play date or ballet class for the littles. We all lead very exciting lives, hehehe. For dinner this month we chose a new place <a href="http://ashamericanfare.com/">ASH</a>. It takes the place of where Cumin used to be in Hyde Park (not a big loss there) owned and run by the same people. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-f4lgbRPaB4Y/UwZU76-8_0I/AAAAAAAABf8/IwvyBDlydZA/s1600/ash.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-f4lgbRPaB4Y/UwZU76-8_0I/AAAAAAAABf8/IwvyBDlydZA/s1600/ash.jpg" height="424" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Borrowed this from the <a href="http://news.cincinnati.com/apps/pbcs.dll/gallery?Avis=AB&Dato=20140120&Kategori=ENT&Lopenr=301200102&Ref=PH/Inside-Ash-American-Fare&nclick_check=1">Cincinnati.com</a></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It was a perfect night to go, the place wasn't very busy so our group of 8 should have been easy to accommodate. I started my night with a dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives (sorry no pic). I will say they forgot the dirty part of the martini but where happy to bring me a little cup of the olive juice to season my own drink. Not a great start but this momma of three was very happy to be out with some good friends. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Dk9ffrJ4P4w/UwZU9CFNYOI/AAAAAAAABgU/sovvhXRnMj0/s1600/ash3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Dk9ffrJ4P4w/UwZU9CFNYOI/AAAAAAAABgU/sovvhXRnMj0/s1600/ash3.JPG" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
The atmosphere was a bit dark inside. You could tell that they really just slapped some paint on the old Cumin and called it something new. I've also never been fond of the big wall going thru the center splitting the whole place? Also the chalk board signs are very in right now. So the place was perfectly trendy. I mean even the name ASH...The <a href="http://ashamericanfare.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/ash-menu.pdf">menu </a>was mostly burgers, or anything you could cook on a grill. I am not fond of paying $15 for a burger but I get it if it is a phenomenal burger, and their choices looked pretty awesome. Luckily with so many people we all got a variety of items.</div>
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The Wedge Salad:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Crispy Iceberg + Artisan Blue </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
+ Cornbread Crouton + Bacon Vinaigrette </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
+ Grape Tomato + Pickled Asparagus</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
This was nothing to write home about. A pretty average salad, but it's a wedge so what did you expect. I will say that the cornbread croutons were pretty awesome and something new and delicious. I could eat those all by themselves. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ctrBQWix-k8/UwZU9-7WPAI/AAAAAAAABgc/Q05WcNH11bA/s1600/ash4.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ctrBQWix-k8/UwZU9-7WPAI/AAAAAAAABgc/Q05WcNH11bA/s1600/ash4.JPG" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Warm Mushroom:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Shaved Brussel Sprouts + Goat Cheese </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
+ Spiced Pistachios + Wild Mushrooms</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
+ Smoked Garlic + Sherry</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
This was actually my favorite thing that was ordered and I didn't even order it! I only got one bit but that one bit was delicious. For this alone and a beer on tap I would go back. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Short Ribs + Fries (poutine)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Ricotta + Fresh Mozzarella </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
+ Bacon Gravy + Herbs</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
This was pretty delicious as well. They also have homemade ketchup and whole grain mustard for dipping. All this poutine needed was a pouched egg on top! Now if I had to compare it to <a href="http://senatepub.com/">Senate's </a>poutine this is a loser, the fries just weren't crispy enough to hold up. Was it good, yes, was it a home run, no. Would I order a fat plate of yummy goodness again, probably. Maybe I can ask for the fries to be well done? Maybe I am a fry snob?</div>

It wasn't bad it just wasn't anything to write home about. *updated with link to what city chicken really is, I guess this is a thing...HA the more you know :)</div>

This is where our story gets interesting. All my lovely friends like there <a href="http://www.cheese-burger.net/how-to/build-a-better-burger-is-it-done-yet.html">burger cooked</a> a little bit more than usual, a med well to well kind of group. Which is fine, I think at a fine dinning restaurant you should be able to order anything well and still have it be delicious. Well my lovely friend to my right ordered her burger medium well and well it was pink. I am sorry but medium well should not be pink (maybe at the very center a thin sliver) but not the whole thing. So she obviously sent it back because she just didn't feel comfortably eating it. Totally an exceptable thing to do, but sadly the waitress right away gave her the stink eye. Then sadly the kitchen decided to refire the whole order. This means they expected to cook a medium well burger quickly and get it out to her before we were all done eating?! I honestly think they should have just warmed it in the oven or dare I say microwave it real quick? Yes that may have taken away from some of the delciousness and juiciness but at least it would have gotten to her faster. So needless to say she did not end up eating dinner but watched the rest of us enjoy our meals. big sad face :( They tried to make it right and just missed the mark, I think it was more the waitress then anything else. We are a pretty fun group of girls and think that maybe there was a better way to go about it? </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
But all in all everyone elses food came out ok. Everyone enjoyed there food, no one was blown away and dying to come back, number four was a hit. The whole place and menu felt a little bit like maybe they were trying too hard? They have only been open for a month or so, maybe they are still finding their footing? So for now I am not running back, but I am sure when summer hits since this happens to be a quick walk from my home that I will be back to try it at least one more time. I mean come on a $15 burger has got to be delicious!</div>

This weekend brought more snow. I wont lie I really love the snow. I mean if it is going to be cold it might as well be snowing, right? But at this particular time we are all snowed out. I have run out of ideas to keep the kids occupied indoors. The wide age range (10,4 &1) which usually is not a bother becomes a bother when you are stuck inside. Little legos can't be used, art activities become harder, baby shows are no fun, and constant bickering of wanting alone time. We did trek outside for a little bit and walk around, walk the dogs and such. But again the age difference played a part, the one year old while he would love to be outside all day long, was frozen stiff and needed to defrost inside. Even thru a large protest I knew he had to come in and I left the other two out to freeze for a bit longer. </div>

Inside it was more of this...Is my house the only one that is a wreck at all moments of the day? If I had my life together more maybe I would have done some projects that need to get done around the house. But every time the weekend comes and I start to get motivated. I just want to sit on the floor and play with the kids and do absolutely nothing at all. I work all week I just want to relax on the weekend. </div>

I'm sure I could think of something more substantial to say, but I will leave that for tomorrow. Today I just want to look at pretty pictures eat some yummy food and think about the weekend, again. I will work on getting some better inside ideas for this weekend. Although the forecast shows a balmy 45 degrees headed our way! Whew what a heat wave. hahaha</div>

Happy Valentines Day if you are into that sort of thing! From my Facebook feed you would think it is Christmas morning. Shots of everyone's kids and all the stuff they got for valentines day and stuff they are taking to school that was thoughtfully picked out from the drug store or handmade from something they saw on <a href="http://www.pinterest.com/eatingthrulife/">Pinterest</a>. I mean we all know this is a commercial holiday, heck they all are pretty much at this point. But you know the economy has picked up with they way everyone seems to have gone all out for the day.<br />
<br />
Now let me not lie and make it seem like I have not given into the love fest, remember <a href="http://eatingmywaythrulife.blogspot.com/2014/01/contridictions.html">contradictions</a>. Last year I was super on top of making the day special for the kids, starting with <a href="http://eatingmywaythrulife.blogspot.com/2013/02/valentines-day-pop-tarts-and-pie-crusts.html">homemade pop tarts</a>. But this year, not so much. I had no desire to even get out of bed today. Tired, over thinking stuff and well having a small pity party for myself lately. Thankfully though the hubs woke up bright and early went and worked out and his gift to me was waking the kids up and getting them breakfast. It was just a small act, but it made a huge difference in my morning. He even had the above flowers sent to my office yesterday. Lets see how fast I can kill them?<br />

<h2>
Here's to shaking off the bad mojo and having a great weekend!</h2>
<br />Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7121190408682696631.post-36860150402819799252014-02-11T11:46:00.003-05:002014-02-11T11:47:07.182-05:00Kindness and CookiesMy husband got me thinking this weekend about kindness; do on to others as you would wish them to do to you kind of stuff. In my head I am always the first to think of the other guy and donate to all the right charities. We give clothing away and stuff away, food drives and dinner shares. But given an actual situation where someone is in need right in front of me how would I react? I always assumed that I would step up and I do think that I do usually, but this weekend I was proved a bit wrong.<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-e4fh_E_MN0k/UvpQU8hLeaI/AAAAAAAABcg/Fd_EDpd91d4/s1600/kindness.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-e4fh_E_MN0k/UvpQU8hLeaI/AAAAAAAABcg/Fd_EDpd91d4/s1600/kindness.JPG" height="480" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">PS Hubs is not the one in the <a href="http://www.thecosbysweaterproject.com/">Bill Cosby Sweater</a></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
We did like everyone else and their kids did and went and saw the <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1490017/">Lego movie</a> (PS it was awesome) and as we were leaving the theater we saw a lady in her car stuck in the ice and snow. My husband asked if we should stop and help, and sad to admit this but, I said for him to drive on. We had all the kids bundled in the car, bubbie had missed his nap and already had one melt down and dinner time was approaching; excuse, excuse, excuse. I just didn't think we could handle any more in our day. So like a good husband he drove on to the light and left the lady thinking that someone else would stop and help her. Nothing else was said it was a non issue, or so I thought.<br />
<br />
As we sat at that light, traffic built up and we had to sit longer than usual, when the light finally turned green for us to go my husband whips the car around like he was enraged/deranged?! I thought that he was upset at something I had said or the kids had done, bubbie was still having a fit in the back seat. He WAS enraged, angered that no one was stopping to help this lady and he had just driven past her too. He swung the car around and parked right next to her hopped out of the car without saying a word and started pushing her car. And then another car pulled over to help. And then my kids watched and cheered for daddy as he helped the lady get unstuck. The simple kindness of strangers working together.<br />
<br />
The hubs hoped back into the car, a weight seemed to be lifted off of him now and we moved on with our day not a word said about it. But everyone was smiling.<br />
<br />
These little acts of kindness are important and even more important for our children to see us doing them. I know that my husband saw that lady in distress and saw me or one of his sisters, nieces. Sometimes we have to act because no one else will and I am ashamed to say that I just believed that someone else would pick up the slack. Maybe I more ashamed that no one else did? The hubs showed me that you have to be the first to act, never assume that someone else will. A small act of kindness isn't an inconvenience. We all learned a lesson that day, and even if my kids still fight over their toys maybe these acts will stick with them and they will be the first to act next time.<br />
<br />

<h3>
Coconut Chocolate Chip</h3>
<div>
<b>Wet: </b></div>
<div>
1 1/2 sticks of butter, softened</div>
<div>
1/2 cup firm packed brown sugar</div>
<div>
1/2 cup granulated sugar</div>
<div>
<b>Add in:</b></div>
<div>
1 large egg</div>
<div>
1 tsp vanilla</div>
<div>
12 oz non sweetened coconut flakes</div>
<div>
<b>Dry:</b></div>
<div>
2/3 cup whole wheat flour</div>
<div>
1/2 cup all purpose flour</div>
<div>
1 tsp baking powder</div>
<div>
1 tsp baking soda</div>
<div>
1/2 tsp salt</div>
<div>
<b>Add in:</b></div>
<div>
12 oz bag of mini chocolate chips ( or regular but mini are my favorite)</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Mix all the wet ingredients until well creamed, then ad you first set of "add ins" one at a time, making sure each is mixed before moving on. In a separate bowl mix all you dry ingredients well then slowly incorporate these into your original wet group. I pour about 1/2 a cup at a time. (should look like the first pic)</div>
<div>
Then add you chocolate chips (you could really add anything here or nothing at all, 2nd pic)</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheets in a 350 degree oven, bake for about 10 minutes or until brown. These will come out crisp and chewy and not as coconutty as you would think. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<h2>

This is weird to talk about here but I need to vent for a second. All of a sudden things have gotten tight with our budget. We and by that I mean me, are usually very good savers and for some reason I let our budget get away from me at the end of last year. We also had some unusual expenses pop up; new roof, some orthodontics, and well life in general. I guess it was just us feeling a bit comfortable and me not being the crazy saver. Also my son is at a new school this year that is basically double what we were paying last year..I don't think I adjusted our monthly budget correctly and well here we are breaking into the savings a little bit to cover everything. Not the end of the world but man do I hate to use it. I LOVED having that huge nest underneath me and now it is dwindling. We have other investments and money coming in. I am just complaining I guess. Tighten things up a bit and then move on, no big deal right :) It's the snows fault.<br />

Happy Freaking Friday! See even the kids need a hand up, sometimes.<br />

I need to <a href="http://www.cnn.com/2014/01/30/opinion/carlsson-paige-raising-children/index.html">exerciser my patients</a> more when raising my Bubbie. I can see in him already a tendency to lash out at people when he is angry or doesn't understand something or can't do something or isn't getting his way. I fear that maybe this is in part to my lack of patience with him sometimes, being the middle child, Kiddo is so easy and Mister hogs my attention?<br />

Now mister has been walking this bike around the house at 1.5...will he ride sooner, is he the next big BMX rider? Maybe but for now he whines and grunts a lot until we let him ride. </div>

Kale chips, the one veggie Bubbie does not complain about eating. Wash well, dry better, remove stems, cut into bit size pieces, really and I mean really cover with olive oil (get your hands in there and rub each piece to make sure it is covered), we do garlic salt and lime juice then back in the oven at 400 for about 30 minutes but watch them. Also make sure each leaf has it's own space, don't just pile them on a tray or you will have soggy chips, which no one likes. </div>

<h2>
Enjoy the weekend, I am making <a href="http://mikeysinmykitchen.com/2012/03/01/chewy-coconut-cookies/">these </a>cookies sometime soon!</h2>
<br />Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7121190408682696631.post-1573288791574439052014-02-03T10:56:00.000-05:002014-02-03T11:09:44.047-05:00Coincidence? MaybeOK maybe I am not supposed to be telling you this...since I am supposed to be talking about how eating fruits and veggies and no processed foods has made our family so much healthier and that now that we take <a href="http://kchavez.juiceplus.com/">Juice Plus+</a> we are sick less. Miracle cure and all right?<br />
<br />
But that is not reality and I live in reality. So here it is straight...this weekend, Saturday, I got really sick. Like lay in bed all day with aches and pains, coughing up a lung, 102 fever, in and out of sleep all day barely moving sick. It was terrible :( now mind you I haven't gotten sick like this in a long time, but also I am not a very sick person to begin with, usually maybe once or twice a year did I ever get REALLY sick. I was sad to be sick especially since I just started selling JP+ and I wanted to be able to say how healthy I have been (which I had been until Saturday). I was mad at JP+, but I doubled up on my dose anyway and was lucky enough that we had nothing going on and the hubs was able to step up to the plate and let me actually be sick, not the push thru mom sick. I know that even when I take JP+ that you will still get sick, because come on even the Dali lama gets sick sometimes. I just didn't want it to be me.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
As I slept I suspected that this was the flu that had been going around our office. Taking people out like a plague one by one; two days of work missed here a week there or just coming to work and grin and bearing it and infecting the rest of us. But to my very pleasant surprise I woke up Sunday morning, bright and cheery. The only sickness left in me was a soar throat from all the coughing I had done. I do sound a bit 1-900 still, if you know what I mean. Honestly I could sing some great jazz right now. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This was my "Aha" moment. My flu/sickness was nothing compared to what other people had. Was it the Juice Plus+? Was it a different flu bug? Was it the fact that I don't really get very sick anyway? Was it because I doubled up on JP+? Was it because I was able to rest for the whole day? Who knows, it could all be a coincidence, but I am doubling my JP+ till I feel a hundred percent, just in case. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Juice Plus+ is like my insurance policy. I don't think my house is going to burn down anytime soon, but I have fire insurance just in case. I am glad that I feel better today and glad that I wasn't bogged down with sickness as bad as others have had it. A little piece of me feels a bit invincible now too. If it was the juice plus maybe I should join that <a href="http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2546668/Is-worth-Volunteers-paid-3-000-infected-flu-scientists-search-create-better-vaccine.html">government healthy study</a> where they are injecting people with the flu just to see what happens?! Right now with my little bottles of JP+ I feel like I could be just fine in that study. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
